The Georgian Building Materials Cluster (GCMC) was established with funding from the European Union and the German government as part of the Clusters for Development project. It is implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
GCMC brings together small and medium enterprises operating in Georgia’s large construction sector. The purpose of creating and working the cluster is to improve the quality of construction products, optimize the operating standard and improve skills, and on the other hand to improve the legal and economic environment, increase the awareness of Georgian products in the local market, encourage exports and promote sustainable development of the sector.
